Up for grabs this week is another great Β kit: Scarlet Nights! I love these products by Jenni Bowlin Studios – the colors and patterns are gorgeous!
So leave a comment here by Saturday, July 4 at midnight and I’ll post the winner on Sunday. : )
My question for you this week is: What is your favorite scrapbook layout or mini album (or project) that you’ve made so far? (if you have a link to it that would be awesome too!)
Have a great week! I’ll be back to post more tomorrow. This last week has been so busy (but so wonderful) being with my family, but I haven’t been on the computer much at all! If you’ve emailed me, I promise I will catch up on my emails in the next few days!
I’m not computer savy enough to have a “link” to anything but I love the little mini book I made called Cakes for the Memories. My brother always teased me about all the pictures I had of birthday cakes thru the years so I decided to make a book out of them…it’s so cute and quirky!
My favorite mini has to to be an album about my parents. I started it after my father died and finished it after my mom died. It’s not fancy, not a lot of embellies, but plenty of memories.
I am really enjoying mini albums at the moment and have had a lot of fun with them. Here are the most recent ones.

thanks for the chance
my layout favorite is the last one, with cosmo cricket paper (early bird)… love the colors
http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/galleries/show/11730
My favorite layout is one of my most recent. I usually only do double page layouts, but this is my second, yes SECOND, single pager! Also, I have always focused mainly on holidays and special events in my scrapbooks and not everyday life. This layout is about my daughter’s favorite afternoon snack, and I love that I am growing as a scrapbooker for the better!
http://thescrappysideofmylife.blogspot.com/2009/06/apple-day.html
My favorite album is of my daughters 40th surprise birthday party. It’s an acrylic album with lots of bling.
I like one 8×8 page I did for for weight loss journey album, it is very simple, but i like it, here is the link http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=1498254
Would love to win. Thanks for the chance.
You know, that is a hard choice for me. I tend to love things lots after I make them and sometimes the love lasts and other times it wanes. I did post a mini on my blog today that I am QUITE fond of, actually. I really love that at the moment!
I made a mini album about a trip I took with my husband and sister to California (we are from Vermont!) I love how it turned out, as a way to document our trip, but I also love that it shows how well my husband and sister get along. They act like real siblings and I love that it is evident in the album. π
Ohhh I just finished my new favorite! It is called “A Everyday Adventure” I used some yummy new Spritz on my laces.
here is a Link: http://thesassycorner.wordpress.com/2009/06/27/tropical-splash-ribbon-kit/

My favorite mini-album is about ME… I love doing layouts and taking photos of the things I love.
My fave project is mini albumn I made for fathers day 2 yrs ago. My husband keeps it on his desk at work and gets lots of comments on it.
I’m really happy with this layout I did a while back for a crop at WeScrap.

I love this mini-album I made to document my youngest daughter’s 2nd year… It’s easy and fun to make! π

This is “one” of my favorite layouts (it’s hard to pick just one) that I’ve done recently. I scraplifted the layout idea from a layout in the Scrapbooking Trends magazine:
http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=1495290
ONE of my favorite projects is a LOVE work book that I made for my daughter & son-in-law for their anniversary last year. I don’t have a link to it, I did post it on the Cricut message board last year. I will try to find the link.

I love making mini albums. My favorite is an album I made for my daughter and her fiance (now her husband) when they were first engaged. It’s full of their favorite pictures from when they first started dating through their engagement. I made three identical albums – one for them, one for his parents, and one for my husband and myself. It was a true labor or love.
Mini albums are so fun to make I have created a ton but I think my favorite one that I created is one that I gave to a friend. I have been taking Halloween pictures of her kids and mine now for years and I finally put them all together in an album for her.
http://christineousley.typepad.com/itsmylife/2009/01/mini-albums.html
I also really loved this mini book too. http://christineousley.typepad.com/itsmylife/2009/04/you-mini-scrap-book.html
Have a great day!
xoxo, Christine
This is my latest favourite of my parents who just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary!
http://janetsjoy.blogspot.com/2009/06/mom-dad.html
This is difficult but I think it would have to be a mini album I did for a friend’s daughter after she turned 16
My favorite is a mini album in an altered altoid tin. It is of my husband and I on a trip several years ago. I used scrabble letters to put our names on top and the letters in each of our first names add up to the same number. This was my first effort and I loved it then and love it now.
thanks for sharing your goodies. would love to win it.
thanks for another giveaway !
here’s one of my fav > http://babsy.over-blog.fr/article-27158623.html

My favorite mini album is always the one I just made. LOL! I do have one that I made for my daughter’s birthday that I do love! Lots of bling and flowers.
My favorite so far are the two mini books I am currently working on for my daughters!
I did a mini album titled “Nest”. It’s in the shape of a bird and has photos of a robin’s nest that was on my front porch in the spring!
I keep aa 8×10 picture frame on my kitchen counter and update every couple months with a mini LO/pictures of the girls from last year at this time. It’s so cute to admire and it makes for a nice reference as to how much the girls have grown and changed in yr! Here’s my current one!

My favorite project of mine is a birthday cake album I designed. You can see photos of it on my blog: http://papercraftspassiton.blogspot.com/2008/08/birthday-cake-mini-album.html
Hi Jess – thanks so much for the goodies that I won a few weeks ago :). So to answer your question – favorite layout or page is one that I made for a digital challenge on WeScrap (http://www.wescrap.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/8563/ppuser/3240) The thing that makes it so special is that it is about my friend Lindsay who has such a heart for others that in her 20’s she started a non-profit organization to bring blankets to babies in the USA and all around the world – http://www.blanketsforbabies.net
I love Jenni B so much. Here are a few things I have made.

TY!
Connie
I love all my mini albums. No way could I pick a favorite! Love your blog, you are super talented. Thank you for sharing, great giveaway!
I think my favorite layout is the very first one I ever made for my daughter’s scrapbook. It was for her first time in the swimming pool. Although I have much more “experience” now then I did back then, I still love that layout! π
I love Jenni Bowlin!
don’t think I can choose a fav I like them all.
My favorite is a very simple mini-book that my then-five year old and I made together. His writing and drawing in it makes it so precious to look back on now.
Happy Belated Canada day to you! Hopped over to your blog from 2Peas! Thanks for the giveaway chance!
My favorite mini was an ABC book about our life. Each page was devoted to the letter in the alphabet and signified everything in my family’s life. I used all Love Elsie products and used the little camera mini album. Sorry I have no photographs. I am really bad at documenting my work and posting it.
Take care!
Happy Belated Canada day – Came here from 2 peas !!
My favorite mini album is a current Disney Album that I made with all different shapes of die cut pages, acrylic, lots of ribbon, transparancies and tons of papers from Creative Imaginations. My friend Tonya made a Mickey with her Cricut and two of his darling gloves which I used as page tab/ turners – it turned out DARLING !!!
that is a cute kit hope i win it
My favorite so far has to be my December Daily that I made (and finished) last year. Thanks for the chance to win!

I hope this link works – the layout has photos of the stunning azaleas in my yard and some Arizona tea bottles that totally complement the colors. thanks for the chance to win – I love Jenni Bowlin but just can’t afford to buy any new supplies right now
I actually just finished a page the other night that is my current favorite. I punched out a bunch of butterflies for the page & actually handstitched on them, too!

Love the kit!!! I always like the one I make next the best.
I made a mini album to document my daughter’s recent trip to Eithiopia. She loved it.
Happy Canada Day (a little late)!!
My favorite layout is my most recent, seems like that is how it always goes for me! My little girl is so cute and says the craziest things – I don’t ever want to forget any of it!
http://www.createmykeepsake.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=46603&cat=500&ppuser=4222&sl=j
My favorite is this Layout. http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/322693/view/2155901/-1/20/1.html I just am really happy with how all the colors and distressing came together.
I made a mini-album for my Mom. I believe it was a 4X4 album. I used pictures of her children and grandchildren, converted them to black and white and used some vintage papers. She absolutely loved it and showed it off to her friends. Since it is so small she is able to carry it in her purse.
me favorite mini album was one I made for my Moms birthday last year. I started with a picture of her in her wedding dress (50 years ago!) and then progress to pics of my sibs and I and then my kids (the only gradkids). She loved it and cried when she looked through it.
My favorite project is the mini book I did for Christmas, 2008. It was the 25 days of Christmas and the album is a varied size album – some 8X8 pages, some 4X6 pages, some 4X8 pages, you get the idea. I wish I had some photos of it. I LOVE IT!!!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be the lucky winner! I got to meet Jenni Bowlin last weekend at SIS live! And I am lovin’ your blog {linked from SIStv}
My current favorite is a layout about my son and daughter and my hope that they have a close and loving relationship as they grow up together.
http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=1500985
Here is a mini album for my cousin, it is still my very fav!
http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/39987/view/1324155/-1/0/1.html
My favorite layout is two pages of my daughter’s confirmation. The photos of her and her sponsor; her grandma (my mom) and her and the bishop are so wonderful. I used white cardstock, with a combination of black and red papers to coordinate with her outfit. There is a silver cross, some stamping, my calligraphy and a red folded flower as an accent.
It really is a striking layout (if I do say so!)
Thanks for the chance of winning the awesome scrap goodies and directing me to your blog.
So far, I love the glass tile tutorial and your love of animals!
First of all.. love jenni Bowlin..
Second: I’d have to say the best thing that I am working on right now is my wedding album, however I’m not married YET.. but I’ve started a few layouts for our wedding albums and I can’t wait to get the pictures taken & developed and into the book!!! π
i love each layout more than the last, but out of my mini album projects, this is probably my favorite:

My mom passed in 2003 and the day after the funeral we found out that my dad had pancreatic cancer. They gave him months but he lived for another 2 years! Miss them both so much!! So, this layout has very special meaning and memories for me.
This is so great of you to do a Jenni give away!! LOVE Jenni products and have been on a stash diet for quite a while now. New products would be great!
Just saw your post about this this morning as I just got back from taking care of my daughter, in Philly, after her car accident.
:0)

What a great giveaway and lots of fun checking out others’ fave projects! I know I can’t pick a fave LO, but my fave mini is probably a cute little mini-house album by JB. I just adore her products and style!
Can’t wait to try some photo tiles – love you tutorial on that! Great blog!!
FAb prize! Wow! My favorite mini was the 25 days to Christmas album I did this past Christmas. I will be doing one again this year.
I made a mini album years ago that was about my favorite things around our home. It was shaped like a house and was only about six pages. I love that book!
I attend a Jenni Bowlin class about two weeks ago and made a mini album. I love her products, I’d have to say that was my favorite mini album.
Happy 4th everyone.
Gosh…that shouldn’t be a hard question, but I’m racking my brain for an answer. I have several layouts I really love, but I’d have to say my favorite album is a memorial album I gave to my DH for Christmas one year. It’s my fave b/c of what it meant to him. I tear up when I think about it. Thanks for the chance to win. JB ROCKS!
My fave layout would have to be any of my sweet DD.
Oh, I love Jenni stuff! Hmmm…I’d have to say I love a page of me and my sis. It’s about how scrapbooking has brought us closer.
My favorite are the 2 mini albums I have done for the 2 SISiversary events I have attended.

I also like this layout because it’s just too fun.

thanks for the opportunity. very generous prize.
Fabulous website BTW. I think my favorite lo would have to be this one. It has big memories as I was going thru a huge transition in my life. I have a thing with bright firey colors, love the tango oranges and hot pinks. Have a fabulous day.

my fav mini album (today, it always changes)is one i just finished of my son’s HS graduation. He & his friends, many of which he’s known since kindergarten, were so elated. can’t share cause i sent it off to my sister who lives 5,000 miles from her godson. and like a dodo, i didn’t photograph it!!! oh well, now i have to make my own copy! Would love to win your goodies to us. off to our 4th of july celebees now.
My favourite album? Oh, that’s easy, the one I’m about to start, of course! This week, it’s the “our house” mini album I’m FINALLY getting around to; I’ll be using a Maya Road shaped chipboard album & photos that have been sitting here for (I’m ashamed to admit) 10 years. Hope you had an excellent Canada Day & didn’t try to take beer on the bus!
I love my Paris mini album that I’ve made. <3
Hard to choose a favorite, but one of them would be a two-page layout I did of my two daughters that had some of my favorite pictures of them taken over several years.
Well, below is a link to a mini card album my dd and I made together. Very nice of you to do a give a way. PS I am in Indiana! Cindy
http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=890775
My favorite mini album to date is a vacation album I did for my big brother for when he & his girlfriend came to visit me. It was my first time trying with a 7Gypsies mini accordian album and I was worried about fitting pix into such a small space, but it all worked out. Thanks for the chance to bring home some Jenni Bowlin.
What a beautiful kit! Thanks for the chance to win it!
My favorite project this year has to be the mini album I made out of toilet paper rolls. I can’t take credit for the idea because I saw it on someone else’s blog, but I’ll share a link to the project on my blog (which also links back to my original inspiration) :

My favorite is probably an album of just all my favorite pictures–it is fun to look back at them!
I may or may not be getting this in my midnight…depending on the time zone. I’m in CST so it’s only 11:21. π
Anyway, my favorite layout currently is this one: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=1475198
My opinion changes ALL THE TIME, but this is a fave because I found the photo on my friends’ facebook page. It’s from almost 20 years ago, and I was delighted to see my friends looking so young and bad*ss in their band photo shoot! One of my best friend’s dad took the photo, and it was shot in my back yard, in front of the church where my dad was the pastor and the band practiced. Anyway, I as soon as I saw the photos I was flooded with fond memories of these guys and that spring/summer. I had to make a layout of it, and it came together in less than 30 minutes. I love it.
What a great question! Thanks!
Kirsti
I know I am probably posting too late that’s okay.. any excuse to share π
Right now this is one of my favorite layouts… partially because it’s not my usual style… and it came out much better than I ever expected
http://scrappinghappiness.blogspot.com/2009/06/star-is-born.html
and then as far as a mini album, I made this one for my cousin as a bridal shower gift.

I love creating layouts about my dogs
This layout really captures their personalities!
